This was a fun assignment, although it was much harder than it looks, at least it was for me. The tulip was drawn using a pencil tool and that alone took me numerous tries as I simply can't draw. I included the "evolution of the flower" so you could see the process I went through to create different versions using gradient meshes to create realistic-looking petals. Once I completed the flower, I used the warp tool to change the flower shape to create different versions. After that, I made them symbols so I could use them over and over in the picture on the right. There are so many applications this could be used for. Me? I'm happy the flower actually looks like a flower!
