Working with gradient tools can be pretty rewarding - you can do some amazing things! These are my pictures, except for the boat, which was an assignment from the book. The marbles, plants, rocks and shell are just illustrations using mesh tools to create realism. Cool, right? Check out this flash file. My original intent was to use my marble illustrations from above in the flash file but I was unable to animate them, so I created circles instead. I will figure it out!!

This is my retro poster design. You can probably tell where I spent the weekend. Yes, I was at the Seattle Women's March 2.0 on Saturday and I got some really nice footage. These are two photos I meshed together to tell a story. Not sure about the colors but I think I like the way it turned out. Here's the book assignment. Not my own design. I just did the rearranging with all the type.
Here's my first stab at creating an animated version of our dog Cooper. Still needs some work and it doesn't look like Cooper, but it's a start. Book assignments - not my images but I did do the editing.
These are my own designs, created using basic shapes like ovals and then creating transformations. Various techniques were employed to make color variations. Pretty fun stuff!! This was a stock assignment. I included this so you could see the basic shapes I started with to create the various birds. All of this was done in Illustrator. This was also an assignment, much like the bird assignment above, with various objects that required molding to create the finished project below. This is a book cover, including dust jacket.
