This week, we used Photoshop to create a presentation that included both photographs, video and sound. We were supposed to choose a global issue and include a call to action. I decided to focus on democracy and my call to action is " to vote". I used photographs and video footage from the Women's March in Seattle. All of the Women's March footage is mine and it was all done on my Iphone. I think it was effective, but you'll have to be the judge. I'd be interested in hearing your perspectives, so let me know what you think!

This was fun and frustrating. Anything done in 3D takes up lots of computer memory, so you can probably guess what happened - yes, my computer kept crashing! The photo of the church steeple was from a photo I took in Florida of a very old church. The funky fingers were downloaded from Pixabay and the rest was just playing around. I've included two versions. The second one is one of my earlier attempts. The first one has the shadow effects going on with the titles, so I moved the hand to the other side to make it more realistic with the lighting. Original photos used to create the posters above. Here's the book assignment. This one wasn't too bad and didn't crash my computer.
DuotonesDuotones - Two colors only. My original photo is on the left. Three of the five are black and white with various intensities and the other two are using black and red. They all look so different. Merchandising TagsHere are two variations on merchandising tags, using duotone features and then coloring in one area. Pretty cool to see what they can look like. Created a snapshot so you can see them but the pdf files have the goods.
Hollywood EffectsHere is the movie poster I created, using Hollywood effects. I included versions with and without the background, fire effects and sign hanger. The photos are from the textbook, except for the world globe, which was downloaded from Pixabay. All the work is mine.
