Above is a picture of my poor attempt to design a webpage using Adobe Photoshop. I admit it is not very creative - not at all, in fact. The creative juices just weren't flowing but it meets the requirements I was going for. Awful, right? Well, this just means I have lots of room for improvement! Visually, it is easier to design what you want the website to look like but this is only the first step. If you're interested in checking it out, you can click on the zip file, click on the index.html file and the webpage will open in your browser. The links all work - some to pages still under construction and others that I'm currently using. Beware of falling debris!!

These are not my photos but I did the adjustments on them. The finished pictures are on the right. These photos were all adjusted using special effects via recorded actions. The first picture was taken by our daughter Sara of baby James and the other two are mine. I did all the adjustments. You can do some fun things with photos and different effects. Finished pictures are on the right.
This first group of photos are not mine. I did do the enhancements using curves and a few other tricks. You really can improve the colors of photos as you can see below. The pictures below are all type effects using different techniques. I don't think I could repeat all of them without following a set of instructions. They can be very complicated projects. I did two different versions of the picture below. I added more details to the print in the second one, like gradient, glow, bevel & emboss and texture. It makes the words pop out but it might be too much since the background is darker. You be the judge - do you have a preference?
These are stock photos used to demonstrate how a picture can be manipulated. The man on the left is the original and the one on the right is the manipulated version. The three textures shown below were used to make the changes. These three pictures were done using brush effects. The trees are actually brushes and they are used in all three pictures. Very different looks. Here's another project I did, using the same wood grains shown earlier.
These are all stock photos, so not my own. What you see here are the original pictures on the left and the extracted images on the right with different enhanced backgrounds. The ballerina with the fire and water is a combination of the extracted features. Amazing what magic you can create with a little effort.
